What the Lawsuit Alleges
A family’s day on the water turned tragic
According to the lawsuit, William Grullon and Sheila Feliciano were enjoying time on the water with their young family when their Sea-Doo Switch — a pontoon-style personal watercraft — behaved in a sudden, dangerous way, throwing occupants from the vessel.
The complaint alleges that their 18-month-old daughter, Vianca became trapped underwater and, deprived of oxygen, suffered a catastrophic brain injury that has permanently altered her life and her family’s future. Kutner Personal Injury and Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. filed suit to hold the watercraft’s manufacturer accountable and to pursue the resources this child will need for a lifetime of care.

Official Safety Recall
This isn’t just our allegation — the Sea-Doo Switch has been recalled
BRP, the maker of Sea-Doo, issued an official Product Safety Recall for the Sea-Doo Switch, warning that the watercraft can nosedive and capsize — with a risk of serious injury or death by drowning. U.S. and international regulators, including the U.S. Coast Guard, have echoed the warning.

Why the product was recalled: Overloading the front of the watercraft could cause it to nosedive and potentially capsize. Water retained in the hull increases the likelihood of capsizing.
Hazard: Risk of serious injury or death from drowning if the watercraft capsizes. Deaths and serious injuries have occurred.
